Measuring the collaborative economy

Our work for Nesta on developing a new methodology to measure the collaborative economy is now published and you can see it here. Working together with our client we devised a way of asking the public the extent to which they have sold or leased their own personal assets using online technologies, and the value of work they have undertaken in this way. We then demonstrated how this might be re-based into an index, so as to monitor changes over time.
